Bose® Bluetooth® headset Series 2 Review

My iPhone wired headphones stopped working this week. So I took some best buy gift cards I got and pulled the trigger on a new bluetooth headset for my iPhone 4. I mainly use the headset to listen to podcasts and audiobooks on my commute so sound listening quality was important. Also I always got the apple headphone cables tangled in my seatbelt and with the shift stick. I was also getting complaints for people I called about not being able to hear me when I was driving. One more thing about the apple headset they hurt my ears after about an hour of use. I have the Bose noise canceling headphones I purchased some years ago and I love them. I have had to Bose support a few times on other Bose products and found it to be great. I was torn between the Bose® Bluetooth® headset Series 2 and the Jawbone Era. I had a bad experience with Jawbone products as I recently purchased the Jawbone Up and had to return it multiple times before the company finally offered up one for free for those that beta tested with out a choice. (Jawbone up refund). Even free I did not want one. The Bose series 2 was 149.99 at Best Buy while the Jawbone was 20 dollars less. With the Best Buy 30 day return policy I thought I would start with the Bose. So far the Bose is great. Bose listening sound is deep and rich. I tested the audio call quality by calling e from various locations like in the car on near a fan and recording it. I found the levels to be good and clear. I wore the headset for about 2 hours and found it to be comfortable with some minor ear fatigue. So far I am very happy with the purchase and do not plan on getting the Jawbone even though the Jawbone offers for more features and an App for the iPhone.
